Do any of you think its possible that some day , maybe in the far future , that everyone will not eat animals anymore? I kind of doubt it, but what do you think? Could it ever happen?

It depends on many interrelated factors.
But I think that eventually all living beings will be back in their own nature, including humans. Humans were born as plant eaters, not meat eaters.

No. It's not possible. Some people really do neet to eat meat. They are few and far between but it does happen. Besides, there will always be that one guy from Texas who needs the 20lb steak to feel like a man!

I have heard scientists saying that it has to happen, but realistically I don't see it happening.

I don't think that it would happen without some catastrophic or world-changing event.
If there were people in a post-nuclear society on an island or continent without animals, but with the ability to grow vegetables... Maybe then. I know that sounds pretty "out there". Even then, what about cannibalism?

Yeah, you are right. Despite our own nature, there are some people who live in the place where meat is the only food available for them, such as people living in Eskimo.

I do not think that it is possible. It is not just a matter of availability of food. But, it is also a matter of controlling one 's desires etc
