Pig Chasing at a school fete

Hi

Aparently at my husbands work they are trying to organise an event called 'pig chasing', some guy on the fete committee is organising the pigs.

Neither my husband or I have any idea what this is, but it does not sound ok at all. Can anybody please help to explain what this involves, so we know what we are talking about if we are to oppose it?

I always hated the greasy pig event at the school events etc as I wasn't allowed to compete but wasn't allowed to chase the pigskin footy either.
